Empowerment of Women
Samar Social and Welfare Society main focus is Women Empowerment by forming and nurturing the Women Self Help Groups. In tune with that noble cause we have created awareness on women empowerment through continuous capacity building. We increased the income earning capacity by promoting savings and credit activities and economic development programmers. Total of 879 panchayats have been covered, 11084 groups were formed with a total membership of 121166

Preamble
Free CCC Course for Unemployed Youth
The organization provided free CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) to the intermediate pass unemployed youth with the help of the Backward Classes Welfare Department. About 200 youth benefited from this scheme and some of them also got employment opportunities after completing the course. The organization also helped them in resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement.

Training for Self-Help Group Women
The organization established a relationship with SBI RSETI (State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute) and facilitated the training of self-help group women through various schemes running in the district. The organization also assisted them in creating employment opportunities for themselves and becoming self-reliant. The training included topics such as tailoring, beauty parlour, dairy farming, mushroom cultivation, etc

Education and Skill Center
The organization also ran its own education and skill center where it offered various courses of NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) to the children. More than 1000 children, both boys and girls, availed the benefits of these courses in the financial year. The courses included topics such as basic computer, digital literacy, web designing, graphic designing, etc. Participatory Social Mapping – Risk Assessment

NSDC Scheme
The organization also implemented the NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and SCPwD scheme in the financial year and trained more than 500 children and girls in various skills. The skills included topics such as retail, hospitality, tourism, etc.

The organization also worked with CSC
SPV (Common Service Center Special Purpose Vehicle) and CSC Academy (Common
Service Center Academy) and conducted various programs in the financial year. The
programs included topics such as financial literacy, digital literacy, legal literacy,
awareness camps, yoga camps, etc. The organization also conducted surveys on
various issues such as health, education, sanitation, etc. More than 10000 families
benefited from these program Activities
